If you are like me, a first timer* to Downtown East, you might be lazy to search for the way there. If you are like most people I know, late comers who can turn up 15mins late and expect forgiveness with a smile and beady eyes, you might find yourself travelling to Downtown East alone tomorrow with lumps of doubt in your heart (they might actually be lumps of fat trying to clog your arteries but I'm being optimistic!) on whether you are actually going to the East and not the West.

Either way, I have 3 ways to get to Downtown East:

1. Travel to Pasir Ris MRT station and look at this page.
2. Gothere.sg has an alternative route which I think is more far exciting!
3. Call 63425222, they are great transport facilitators.

*I lie.

Tomorrow, we are meeting at CCK MRT platform level at 2:28pm. We will leave in 7 minutes. If you come later than that, I'm very sorry but at least you're not in an alternate universe where I will strangle you. I can't do that here because this Singapore is well, Singapore, and because I have some degree of morality most of the time. Anyway, we will stop at Kembangan along the way and go to a BBQ Wholesale Centre that Ray strongly recommends. We will buy charcoal, tongs, ice, food and then go to Downtown East.

If you want to bring your outside friends along, you can! But they will have to pay $5. But they will get free rape! But I can't gaurantee who the rapist would be. But still, it is a pretty good deal. That means no, I really don't think you should bring your outside friends along.
