If you are like me, a first timer* to Downtown East, you might be lazy to search for the way there. If you are like most people I know, late comers who can turn up 15mins late and expect forgiveness with a smile and beady eyes, you might find yourself travelling to Downtown East alone tomorrow with lumps of doubt in your heart (they might actually be lumps of fat trying to clog your arteries but I'm being optimistic!) on whether you are actually going to the East and not the West.

Either way, I have 3 ways to get to Downtown East:

1. Travel to Pasir Ris MRT station and look at this page.
2. Gothere.sg has an alternative route which I think is more far exciting!
3. Call 63425222, they are great transport facilitators.

*I lie.

Tomorrow, we are meeting at CCK MRT platform level at 2:28pm. We will leave in 7 minutes. If you come later than that, I'm very sorry but at least you're not in an alternate universe where I will strangle you. I can't do that here because this Singapore is well, Singapore, and because I have some degree of morality most of the time. Anyway, we will stop at Kembangan along the way and go to a BBQ Wholesale Centre that Ray strongly recommends. We will buy charcoal, tongs, ice, food and then go to Downtown East.

If you want to bring your outside friends along, you can! But they will have to pay $5. But they will get free rape! But I can't gaurantee who the rapist would be. But still, it is a pretty good deal. That means no, I really don't think you should bring your outside friends along.

Um I have never been to Downtown East so I apologise if there is not enough information.

Okay, our chalet is at Downtown East Coasta Sands Resort. Our room is at Blk H and is numbered 1808. The room seems small so everyone would have to squeeze. The worst thing that could happen is some of us become lesbians but even that is unlikely. Anyone who wants a list of room amenities or more marketing lies can go here.

There is a rule on the chalet reservation paper that says "a maximum of four persons shall register to occupy each chalet. Additional guests are required to pay the prevailing day member entrance fee ($1) and must leave the chalet ground by 11pm". Can someone comment on this?

On the first day (3rd Dec), I think we should make our way to Downtown East at around 3:30pm and then set up the BBQ. We will spend the rest of the day eating BBQ. On the second day... We will decide what to do on that day. On the third day, everyone who is sleeping overnight will clean up.

Up to today, only 4 people had paid. Chao Yan gave the least (the minimum $9) while Chen Han, Mubin and Wei Ming gave $10.

Is this enough information?

In light of the impending economic recession and a chalet issue, the reunion will now only cost $9 per pax. Surplus money is expected and will be redistributed during the event.

Anyone who had already paid $12 will be refunded on Monday.

The chalet for 3 to 5 Dec has been confirmed. Please pay $12 if you are really sure you are going to make it. If you can't but had paid, just think of what a difference your $12 has made on a bunch of money-deprived campers so don't ask for it back. Oh I kid.

We are aiming for at least 20 attendees. If there are more than that, the surplus money will be evenly divided and distributed to all attendees. If there are less than 20 attendees, I don't know what to do... maybe I will cover up the shortfall and then demand money from everyone.

I will start to collect money from next week onwards. If you feel mighty generous, you can pay more than $12.
